Calendar is Up!
I said I wasn’t going to do a calendar for this year, but enough people persuaded me to at least make a RedBubble one so that all I’d have to do was draw the pictures and upload them - no need to put together a calendar layout, no upfront costs, and no dealing with printers (that last point is a big deal as last year’s large print run of calendars had a printing error that I couldn’t do anything about). I agreed to do that, but then RedBubble stopped offering calendars and I almost bailed on my plans to do a print-on-demand calendar. I had to do some research to find a print-on-demand website that offered custom calendars that are good quality. So after years of inactivity, I returned to DeviantArt for the sole purpose of putting up a custom calendar, and just uploaded the files for it today, so it should be ready for ordering!
Buying the calendar via DeviantArt isn’t too different from when I had my 2018 calendar for sale in my shop, just click the image above or this link and you’ll be directed to the page for the calendar purchase. Click “Add to Cart” on the right hand side of the page and checkout as you normally would for any online purchase.
If you’re on mobile, you’ll have to scroll to the bottom of the calendar page and “Switch to Desktop Site” in order to show the “Add to Cart” option on the right side of the page.
The calendar template is very basic, but you’ll still get the full image for each month, the actual calendar grid will just be plain and simple, no fancy coloured backgrounds and text like my fully custom calendars.
Another difference is that the calendars are printed in US Letter size, which is 11x8.5 inches (215.9 x 279.4mm) and a slightly different size from the last two A4-size calendars, so I’ve added a white frame around each image so none of the drawing gets cropped off.
DeviantArt calendars are printed on thick paper and spiral bound, just like my last 2 calendars. If you’d like to see what they look like, have a look here.
Hopefully those of you who were keen on another one of my pole calendars is happy with these!
