Photoshoots

  • Preparing for your shoot can differ depending what kind of photoshoot you are doing, but first things first - relax! I have photographed many photoshoot newbies and everyone always does so well - often better than they expected!

I will provide plenty of guidance and direction with posing so that you look your best, but it helps to look up some shoot inspiration beforehand so you get an idea of what vibe or look you’re after, as well as any poses you want to try.
The more prepared you are, the more we can use your time and ensure you are happy with your shoot.

  • Absolutely! I want all my clients to be comfortable at their shoot and completely understand that photoshoots can be a little overwhelming. Having a more familiar face in the room can help a lot, so having a “shoot buddy” is something I 100% support.

If your shoot is at my home studio, I do appreciate you bringing no more than 2 people, as space is somewhat limited.

  • You can change outfits as many times as you can fit in your shoot, just be mindful of the time it takes to do so.
If you have a 30-minute shoot, I recommend assigning your favourite outfit to your favourite poses and doing them first. That way you can be sure to get the photos/looks you want. It’s also a good idea to “test-run” your outfits to get an idea of how long they might take to change in & out of.

  • Not at all! You can do a pole shoot whether you’ve been poling for 10 days or 10 years. Just keep things safe & only do tricks you are confident in.

Often the simpler tricks look best and you don’t even need to do pole tricks during your shoot - there are so many standing and floor poses you can do that look great regardless of your pole level.

  • There isn’t a set number of poses you need, but I recommend at least 6 for a 30-minute shoot or 10 for a 1-hour shoot.

It’s good to have a few backup poses too, just in case some don’t work out during the shoot or you get through your list quickly.

I always have a few go-to poses & tricks I can suggest if you run out of ideas, but it’s always best if you come with a list of tricks you like and feel comfortable doing.

  • No - please do not try tricks you’re not confident in during a photoshoot.

I am not an instructor and even if I was, I can’t spot you and take photos at the same time. It’s not worth injuring yourself trying to get one photo.

Edits & Retouching

  • Most of my photoshoots are available to book via the booking page here.

For any custom photoshoots, or to book on a date that isn't listed on the booking page, please get in touch via email or through Instagram DM.

All photoshoots require a non-refundable deposit upon booking. Deposits range between $50-$100 depending on the photoshoot.
The remaining amount must be paid via bank transfer or in cash before your session.

  • Life happens, so I completely understand needing to reschedule. I am generally quite flexible with rescheduling photoshoots at my home studio and can usually make time.

Your deposit is non-refundable but as long as you reschedule with sufficient notice, your deposit can go towards the new photoshoot.

  • All deposits are non-refundable, but in some cases & with enough notice, deposits can be retained and may be used towards any future photoshoot or treated as credit towards any other product or service offered by Aisha Diandra Creative Art.

Standard pole/portrait and photoshoots at my home studio:
Cancellations up to 3 days before your scheduled session will retain the deposit - regardless of if/when you reschedule.

Themed set photoshoots at my home studio:
Cancellations up to 7 days before your scheduled session will retain your deposit.

For photoshoots at pole & aerial studios, cancellations up to 14 days before your scheduled photoshoot will retain your deposit.
Cancellations less than 14 days before your scheduled photoshoot will lose your deposit.

  • Proofs will be sent out within 2 weeks from photoshoot date.
Depending on my current shoot schedule and editing backlog, edits take between 6-8 weeks from the date they are selected.

Extra edits are usually done at the same time as included edits, but depending on how many edits you’re getting, it can be an additional 2 weeks or more for extra edits.

In the event of large scale photoshoots (eg: studio shoot day), included edits may take up to 8-10 weeks, and any additional edits will be worked on after all included edits are completed first.
This is to ensure fair & equal wait times for all shoot participants (as some people get many extra edits while others don’t get any).

  • Generally edits include perfecting the lighting, enhancing colours and tidying up the background.
I do skin retouching to smooth out skin and remove bruises & scratches. Things like wrinkles, cellulite & stretch marks will be softened, but not completely removed.

I leave skin folds, rolls, beauty spots & birth marks, unless requested otherwise.

More intricate editing (such as adding extra elements) and advanced retouching (such as adjusting/resizing body parts) may incur additional costs.

If there are any specific things you’d like edited out or left in, please let me know when you choose your edits. (Eg. request to remove a tattoo or request to leave stretch marks.)

  • Yes, you can purchase additional edits any time from the date you receive your proofs, but please note that raw files are typically deleted 12 months after the photoshoot date.

    Additional edits with skin retouching:
    $45 each
    $175 for 4
    $215 for 5
    $250 for 6
get in touch for a deal if you want more than 6 extra edits.

    Additional edits without skin retouching:
    $35 each
